Episode 1
Hosted by Morgan Freeman, Through the Wormhole explores the deepest mysteries of existence — the questions that have puzzled mankind for eternity.
What are we made of? What was there before the beginning? Are we really alone? Is there a creator? These questions have been pondered by the most brilliant minds of the human race. Now, science has evolved to the point where hard facts and evidence may be able to provide us with answers.
It’s perhaps the biggest, most controversial mystery in the cosmos. Did our Universe just come into being by random chance, or was it created by a God who nurtures and sustains all life? The latest science is showing that the four forces governing our universe are phenomenally finely tuned. So finely that it had led many to the conclusion that someone, or something, must have calibrated them; a belief further backed up by evidence that everything in our universe may emanate from one extraordinarily elegant and beautiful design known as the E8 Lie Group.
While skeptics hold that these findings are neither conclusive nor evidence of a divine creator, some cutting edge physicists are already positing who this God is: an alien gamester who’s created our world as the ultimate SIM game for his own amusement.
It’s an answer as compelling as it is disconcerting.

Yup, our Universe is indeed a rad, rad place. And unarguably Morgan Freeman is a rad, rad man. So soothing!
Interesting!

awesome post here
thats dope
I've heard that theory before, that potentially everything around us is a simulation and doesn't exist.
Kind of scary actually.
Morgan Freeman 0.0
0.0 Freeman Morgan
this is good, keep it coming
Interesting as always.
string theory.
:D great
A very nice find.
Great find!
If an alien had created us he would be much more involved in our lives, to me it sounds no different than the religious trying to give a superior meaning to our essentially meaningless lives.
Interesting blog bro,
keep it up!

Wormholes always have kinda given me a chill when I think about them, I mean there is so much we just don't know about them!
Interesting to watch. Gives you a lot to think about.
Absence of light is darkness :O
This is an amazing show, thanks for the link.
awesome show, man. thanks. following.
I watched the whole thing, actually that's the first time I've ever realized that if we make a computer strong enough we can literally create our own world inside of it, all it is is physics constraints, :P
id rather make poopies. smells funny, man.
I like to believe in a higher power
I could listen to Morgan Freeman narrate anything
I believe in a higher power...
hurry and post part 2 i cant wait!
Aww... it's not on youtube? :( Can't add to my playlist now.
Another one I think I watched. I don't know if it's possible to "prove" a creator, at least the kind of Judeo-Christian creator. Even when people make arguments of design or call something "irreducibly complex" it's still not enough to show something intelligent and conscious controlling the Universe. Then again there's the more Deist ideas of an ordered, created Universe where the Creator made everything and then took a more or less hands-off approach.
Maybe I should start writing some stuff for my blog about Skepticism. Keep up the good work, and I love your site, great FAQs and all that.
I watched the entire thing when I should have been preparing for my O-chem lab.
Thanks again Naj. :P
