Episode 3
Einstein’s Theory of Relativity says that time travel is perfectly possible — if you’re going forward. Finding a way to travel backwards requires breaking the speed of light, which so far seems impossible.
But now, strange-but-true phenomena such as quantum nonlocality, where particles instantly teleport across vast distances, may give us a way to make the dream of traveling back and forth through time a reality.
Step into a time machine and rewrite history, bring loved ones back to life, control our destinies. But if we succeed, what are the consequences of such freedom? Will we get trapped in a plethora of paradoxes and multiple universes that will destroy the fabric of the universe?
Hosted by Morgan Freeman, Through the Wormhole explores the deepest mysteries of existence — the questions that have puzzled mankind for eternity. What are we made of? What was there before the beginning? Are we really alone? These questions have been pondered by the most brilliant minds in history.
Now, modern science may be able to provide us with answers.

Fuck yeah wormholes!
omg! like it :D
NICEY :D
i'd like to stick my worm in blake lively's hole
I think I saw this episode. What struck me as strange was them saying that if you went back in time you could only go back as far back as the invention of said time machine because creating one would make a separate loop in time or something. Very strange stuff that I don't really understand. Great stuff though.
Loved this episode, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the insightful comments on my last blog post!
I saw this episode, pretty cool stuff.
this is interesting!
Really awesome
Nice Episode. :D
Time travel? Like Strong Bad said it best - my head a splode. :D
I heard some stuff that technically, pilots who fly at super-sonic speeds do so already, albeit very minutely.
we could only go into the future, not the past, I think...
@DerpFiles
actaully man, according to some physicist, particularly dr. michio kaku, it is theoretically possible to travel in time even before a time machine is made. it might be possible due to the existence of a multiverse. when you travel back in time, you create a new time stream and the time stream where you came from won't get affected by the choices you made in the new time stream.
I think i fixed my feedburner, thanks for pointing it out
BTW, as All NY Love said, people who travels at the speed of sound experiences time travel. the people in the International Space Station also experience the same thing.
attractive subject indeed
I love this series. Gives you much more to think about.
I really liked this episode too! All the theories of time travel and how it might be possible.
The biggest part (i think it was this episode, or may be another episode/show I was thinking of) I loved was when it talked about how theoretically, you could go faster than the speed of light and make it to say, alpha centari within your lifetime, but the counter balance to that is while in your perspective it's only say 65 years while from earth's perspective, it actually is like a few thousand years. So even if we find out how to go faster than the speed of light, it would be a one way trip for those people going. Even funnier was when someone mentioned while on that travel, you could even encounter people from the future of earth who have made a better form of space travel. XD
If that wasn't from this episode, it was probably from a similar show. I haven't rewatched this episode just yet.
interesting video and pic... nice man
I remember seeing this on Tv but could never find it online! Thanks for sharing
